Torbiere del Sebino Regional Nature Reserve

The starting point of this itinerary, winding through one of the most interesting wetlands in Lombardy, is at a particularly impressive place, the Cluny Monk S. Pietro in Lamosa Monastery, in the municipality of Provaglio (car-park).

From here, we follow the signs along a footpath skirting the road until we reach the railway bridge; here, we turn left and arrive at the entry to the Natural Reserve. Walkways and small wooden pontoons, suspended on the water permit a circular route of around 4 kilometres surrounded by nature.

Bird watchers can reach a magnificent observation post also by following the footpath starting in front of the Iseo sports field.

Entry to the reserve is free for up to a maximum of 5 persons. For groups, a paid guide is obligatory for visits.
